The latest daily, perhaps? I suppose that will have any critical security updates as well. Breezy is the same as 5.10, so I suspect that is only a naming issue,w hich shouldn’t matter.

Ok, I guess I got it all sorted out in the end. The link in the announcement should lead to http://releases.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-server/5.10/ – there, in fact, are the ubuntu-server-5.10-* files. :)

Yes, the catch is, in case of the desktop release every ISO up until release was called breezy-*, but the release ones are called ubuntu-5.10-*.

This, technically, shouldn’t matter, and I believe the latest ISO (pointed with the ‘daily’ link) is most probably the final one, but there’s nothing that would disprove a theory that this might as well be just a -server version of a pre-release breezy-* daily build, and not a -server version of the final, released build.

I wouldn’t raise this in case of a desktop install, but on a server, I’d love to be sure that I’m, in fact, using the final release, and not something with, say, some cryptic bug somwhere in /etc/skel that would trickle down to the default files of the users created at install. (That’s an example of a bug that can’t be fixed by upgrading.)

Hm, I somehow missed the server announcement. The question, though: *which* daily should I use, given they all are named breezy-*, not ubuntu-5.10-*? :o)
